Hi, I’m Srdjan Stevic – welcome to my blog!

🌟 Early Life & First Steps in Tech
Born in the colorful eighties in the small Serbian town of Požarevac, my childhood was a blend of curiosity, technology, and adventure. I grew up exploring the digital world on Nintendo, Commodore 64, and the legendary PC 486 – running MS-DOS, Windows 3.11, and later Windows 95. On the Commodore 64, I took my first steps into programming with BASIC, followed by QBasic 4.5 and Pascal at school – sparking a lifelong passion for tech.
Today, I call Belgrade – the beating heart of Serbia – my home.
🎮 Gaming & Hobbies
Alongside coding and tinkering, I was deep into the golden era of gaming – from Warcraft II & III, Need for Speed, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament, Call of Duty, and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault to Wolfenstein.
When I wasn’t in front of a screen, I was on the basketball or volleyball court, occasionally playing football, riding my bike, or enjoying the thrill of motorcycles.
📻 Music & Passions
A big fan of AM/FM radio, I’ve always loved the magic of voices and music filling the airwaves. In my free time, I dive into epic fantasy, thrillers, and a touch of horror – enjoying works from authors like Joe Abercrombie, Brandon Sanderson, Stephen King, Steve Berry, and Robert Ludlum.
💼 Professional Journey
I’ve been a System Administrator since 2003, working with a broad spectrum of Microsoft and non-Microsoft technologies. Over the years, I’ve specialized in Microsoft 365, mastering it since its very first release. Today, I serve as one of the ITPro Serbia User Group leads, coordinate Microsoft community activities across the country, and preside over “Tarabica # IT Conference” – Serbia’s largest free, community-driven IT event.
