Sinergija has always been a major event in our region, but 2023 had a special energy. Representing the Microsoft community at the booth, I spent the day exchanging ideas with students, professionals, and MVPs from across the Balkans. It wasn’t just about tech — it was about people connecting, sharing, and building something together. Photo with MVP and community leads from Bulgaria (Mihail Mateev, Piya Mateeva, Boriana Petrova)

After the sessions end, some of the best moments begin. The speakers dinner at Tarabica was a chance to connect in a more relaxed setting — to talk, exchange ideas, and simply enjoy being part of a great group. It’s in those moments, away from the stage, where real community takes shape.
I still vividly remember giving a short speech that evening — standing in front of fellow speakers, reflecting on what we had created together. It was a quiet, meaningful highlight of the entire event.

My very first session at “ITPro Serbia” user group in July 2013. about Microsoft Exchange. It was almost four hours long and it had 134 PowerPoint slides 🙂

This is still a very special photo for me, with the speakers at Tarabica # Hash IT conference in Belgrade, Serbia, as we’re making the Tarabica # logo.
In 2021, when in-person events were impossible due to the pandemic, I had the privilege of speaking at Microsoft Sinergija in its online-only edition. Delivering this session via Microsoft Teams, despite lockdowns and uncertainty, was a powerful reminder of how resilient the tech community can be. This experience meant the world to me.
October 2022 was special. After two long years without seeing each other, we finally gathered again in person. That evening, as we restarted ITPro Serbia, it felt like coming home. The faces, the energy, the conversations — everything reminded me why I started doing this in the first place. It wasn’t just about tech. It was about people.
